Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

I am so glad my tip was correct. Now I am just waiting for my TA to email me back with my request. I am about to pull my hair out waiting :scared1:.

WOW! I just called and save $1400 dollars staying at the Beach Club from May 14 - 21..

the women on the phone said there was 80 people on hold!!!

That's right. This is NOT a good deal for Annual Passholders. It's not intended for us.

Disney is trying to get NEW vacation package bookings for the first half of next year.

This is a GREAT deal if you're staying 7 nights and don't already have tickets. It's actually better than the old "Fairy Tale" package from 2003 because of the $200 gift card.

I concur - Great deal for us. Saved $500+ at Pop for 10 days in March plus am getting the $200 gift card. Of course now I have 2 ressies as I booked one online at 5pm under my wife's name not knowing if my TA will get the code applied to our existing ressie in time. Hopefully she will and I can cancel the other one tomorrow

You really can't compare rates in August / Sept to this to determine whether its a great deal. there is a reason one is peak season and one is not. This is a great deal in peak season

We are booked for May 16-24 for Pop Century, and to whomever asked, yes, you can pay the deposit in 7 days! We have never went in May before, only December!

Ok. Maybe I've figured it out.

For those of you who are saving money vs. the AP rates: Is the reason this deal works out better than booking with the AP rate because you haven't purchased your AP yet?

Perhaps that's the difference. I have an active AP from our trip in May.

Please, someone, tell me this is true! Because if I could save some money, I'd be much much happier!

Bad news.......I couldn't get CBR.........good news I got PORFQ and saved$1,072:banana:

I just realized she didnt say anything about the $200 gift card...............hmmmm, is that sent out?

The gift card will be waiting for you at check in. The CM told me I could use it on anything except to pay for this reservation. He said I could use it to book another one though. :lmao:

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

I called the GG line at 4:59 and said "I heard a rumor..." and he said "you know what they say about rumors...too good to be true- except for this one- it's very true!" And then he wanted to know how I knew to call at 5:00 :rolleyes1
Anyways, we were originally booked at CBR w/regular dining and upgraded to a 2 Bedroom BCV w/deluxe dining for the same price! So, not really a savings, more of a transfer of Disney funds;) but I think this is going to be great! We could never stay at BCV without this deal!

Originally book Pop for Mon Jan 5th - Sat 10th. Called at 5:35pm, took 1/2 to get someone. Was gonna book Pop from Sun Jan 4th - Sun Jan 11th but they all sold out of the deal. Kinda ticked cause that 1/2 hr is probably what did it for us. sigh

Woo-Hoo!! I just called back and changed from POR to WL for only $52.00 extra for the week!!! YAY!!

78 minutes of waiting and...
I have one extra day, saved $150 and have a $200 gift card.

2 adults/1 toddler/1 infant: 7 nights at the POP (standard), base park tix, with quick service dining for 2 adults and 1 toddler. Approx $1600. (I am still waiting on the reservation confirmation in my email)

My CM, Elmer, said I was a guinea pig, and they finally found out the glitch on a "back screen" ??? So -- it should run smoothly for all you out there!:rotfl:

Where do you see your savings on Disney's website when you book? I was hoping to see it before I actually booked something.

I got Caribbean Beach June 20-27 2 adults 2 children (11 &7) with quick service dining plan for $2671. The CM said I was the first one to book the package. I don't know if she meant the first with her, or the first overall. I was on the phone & done by 5:05.

I asked for building 51 in Aruba & she told me it was a preferred room? I thought only Martinique & Trinidad North were preferred? Did she charge me preferred because I stated a preference for it?

Whatever, I'm pleased, I may remove the dining later, I'm not sure we're dining plan people, but I asked her if the dining plan was part of the get 3 free & she said, she'd put it in & find out....turns out it wasn't! But I told her to keep it on anyway!

Now to call my husband and tell him what an eventful day it's been for his wallet!

I gave up being on hold and booked on-line.

We have AP's so I booked us WL, Woods View, Bunk Beds, 1 day basic ticket for 3 adults and 1 child and saved us over 400.00.

Definitely worth it to me since we are going in June 09 already. I'll just save the tickets for another years trip.

Were you willing to switch value resorts? I had to for similar dates to yours. Saved me about $200 plus the $200 GC.

Okay I'm looking at this online. We have APs and room only ressies for a deluxe room at WL for $4900. It's not available under this deal, but we could get a Lagoon View Club level room at the Poly for 3658 (w/1 day tix) or deluxe room at BWI for 3365. Do you think it's worth it?

My TA was able to get it for me. I saved $424.18 for our 10Night at AKL. I wanted to upgrade to a Savannah Room, but she said that wasn't available. But, I am soooo happy I was able to save $$$, plus get the $200.00 gift card at check in!

Where do you see your savings on Disney's website when you book? I was hoping to see it before I actually booked something.

It doesn't show the savings on the website, I only know what my savings is because I priced the trip 5 min before 5pm and saw the regular price. Then when I called Disney and got $500 less I knew what my savings was.
