Finally booked my first disney trip! We had booked earlier today for our trip and with this deal I called back and just saved $500.00 for the same booking! I am beyond pleased, every penny saved is a great deal to me!
SO excited

Forgot to mention we have been planning an April 09 trip for the past 3 months, this was icing on my cake!

NOw if I can only figure out TGM's site, I would be even better off!

Thanks so much for responding. I can't figure out why it doesn't work for my dates--Jan 20-27 at AKL. No matter how I slice it, using the Disney website, it still seems to come out costing more than booking the room with my AP discount.

But I'm so glad it's working for so many people!

Well, I couldn't get the Poly garden view for my dates and I wasn't about to pay extra for lagoon view concierge. They had nothing for GF or CR sooooooo.....I ended up doing WL woods view. It's an upgrade from CSR and we will have boat transportation to MK which is very important to us as we spend alot of time in MK. 7 nites hotel + 7 days MYW tickets with park hopping + trip insurance + tax = $2642.14. I am happy. ETA: Our trip dates are 4/23 - 4/30 then we are off to PBH at Universal until 5/3.

My great AAA TA left the office and had the other agent handling my reservation. I finally got the other lady on the phone for her to say I've got it on hold for you. I said what do you have on hold as I gave Shelly several scenarios? Does it save me any $$? The response was...I have GF held and Shelly will call you. Will she call me tomorrow? I don't know when she'll call you I gave her your number and told her it was on hold. *** How crappy is that! I've been waiting all damn day she knew it and now I have no idea if I still have my TPV or if she switched me to garden or how many days I have. She's been awesome...really going out of her way for me but this is just crappy knowing I'm waiting on her to give me the updates and she takes off not to be heard from I tried to go on my own through the website and GF is sold out. The only thing I could get is BC CL and I want to be on the monorail. Looks like I"m stuck

I have an existing ressie through AAA.
I decided to call Disney at 5pm and get the scoop. I just decided to book the trip through Disney in case I couldn't get the $500 savings from AAA, I put down $200 (refundable up to 45 days before trip). Then I called AAA, got my agent - surprisingly still there - and she said she was just looking up the deal and would pull my files and reprice my trip. As long as AAA can confirm the same savings that Disney just gave me, I'll cancel Disney and keep my AAA. I'm part of a grand gathering, so I asked her , AAA, to pull all 7 family's files and hopefully she can get everyone the savings!

I called at 5pm and was on hold about 10 minutes. The call took a little longer b/c the computers were slloooowww on their end b/c of all the calls. I booked the Beach Club for 7 nights in June w/ 8 day park hopper passes for $2837!

Now to start stocking up on misting fans and sunblock! We usually go during the Christmas holidays when it is cooler, but we couldn't pass this deal up!

just heard back from AAA travel agent--got POP Century, last week of May, 7 nights - including Memorial Weekend! Woohoo! Two rooms! (2 adults in each room), 7 day hopper tickets, and the regular dining plan for all...$3576...yahoo! (that includes cancellation insurance...we always insure against cancellations...works every time,we've never had to cancel, LOL.)

We would have booked the exact same deal with a AAA room discount if this had not come out...that would have cost us $4004...

So this promotion saved us $428 more than the other possible deal!

That's a lot, a lot, a lot of pina colavas...and grand marnier slushies...and glowtinis of all sorts...and specialty beers

And dole whips. And sweet pretzels from Norway...

AND, we're celebrating DH's birthday while we're there...so he get's a shopping spree!
