...of packages w/dining vs. booking with an Annual Pass. Take a look. I'm hoping for a good August AP rate!

That looks like it is for a Deluxe resort. I wonder what it would look like using a value property.

Thanks! I just saw that. It is not so good a deal for the moderates and Value resorts.

Using the same family breakdown, same numbers for meals and tickets. I just got the following

Value Resort-Dining Plan
room-783.09 (rack reg season)
passes- 910.59
Dining Plan 805.00
Total WITHOUT additional meals $2498.68
Total With the extra $286 meals added on $2784.68 (we would not do a dinner show nor spend the extra $286 on meals)

Value Resort -Annual Pass Plan
Room 585.34
Tickets 1093.77
Meals 1145.00
Total AP plan $2824.11

Moderate Resort -Dining Plan
room-1162.95 (rack reg season)
passes- 910.59
Dining Plan 805.00
Total WITHOUT additional meals $2878.54
Total With the extra $286 meals added on $3164.54

Moderate Resort -AP Plan
room-850.75 (rack reg season)
passes- 910.59
Meals 1145.00
Total AP Plan $3089.51

Since we will not use 2 dinners for a dinner show, nor do the extra meals she included in fit our eating style the meal plan still works for us. This is proof that everyone needs to figure their own out, and that numbers can be tricky.
