Mousekeeping

Can somebody please explain to me what this is and if there is any cost involved. We have never stayed onsite before and I was just wondering.

Mousekeeping is just a Disneyfied name for the folks who clean your room each day. They make the bed, take out trash, straighten up, etc. like the maids employed at most hotels in the U.S.

It is customary to tip the mousekeepers. I usually tip $1 per person per day. When I travel alone, I usually tip $2.
