I understand that housekeeping only comes on the fourth day, and I'm fine with that. But what about towels and such :confused3 . Do you bring your own or will they supply clean ones? Other Disney resorts have towels for guests at the pools also. Is this the case at DVC resorts ? Thanks in advance. :thumbsup2

At DVC if you are STAYING on Points

You get 1 set of towels and they get replaced on the 4th day.
1.2.&3 bedrooms have a washer dryer so you can wash them while your at the parks .Studios you can use the washer and dryers at the Pool areas they all have them and it's included with your points stay. You have to supply or buy your detergent I think they give you 1 small box to start you out.

You may for $6.50 get a set of 4 towels ,washcloths, handtowels .They also get replced on the 4th day.

You can pay for trash and towels or Full Mousekeeping as well.

Now if you were upgraded or paying cash through CRO you get regular Mousekeeping every day just like at the other resorts.

Hope this helps

In a studio and 1 bedroom, you will get 4 bath towels, hand towels and washcloths plus a bath mat. (enough for the "sleeps 4" capacity. In a 2 bedroom, you will get enough for 8. Remember that day 1 is the day you check in, so it really only seems like 3 days, since it is 3 nights before your trash and towel.

You can also arrange to have an extra towel pack at a cost of $6 per day. You can also choose to have mousekeeping daily or even daily trash and towel service for a price. If you are in a 1,2 or 3 bedroom villa, there will be a washer and dryer in the room where you can wash towels daily, if you don't like to hang and reuse.

With regard to the towels at the pool part of your question, there are tons available for all guests to use.

OK, this has me confused. I can understand paying a one time fee for an extra set of towels when you check in and then maybe on towel day, but why would you pay daily when they aren't being replaced daily?

You only get charged that once for each set not per day the only thing per day is if you want Mousekeeping or T & T.

Thats how it was told by MS when I ordered it for our stay.

I can't remember for sure, but I think daily trash and towel is like $10. Probably worth it if you don't like to hang and reuse towels, or if you are in a studio or 1 bedroom with 4 people rather than 2 or 3.

FYI, the pool towels are not the same quality as the room towels. They are smaller and not as thick. They are really meant to stay in the pool area, and they have towel returns there for those towels. You can also go to the free laundry room if you aren't staying in a 1 bedroom or larger. Personally, I would probably get the extra towel pack or daily T&T if it was an issue for me. I really like that we don't have mousekeeping roaming in and out every day, so we usually make do with what we have. We don't usually stay in studios though, so we always have a washer and dryer in our room to make that easier.

Does anyone know how much it is to change the bedding? Trash and towel service on the 4th day is fine for us. I don't mind washing a load of towels while we are at the parks, but I don't want to wash sheets/make beds while on vacation. We don't even need it daily, just once or twice for the week.

Do you request this at the time of booking, or is it something you can ask the front desk for if needed?
