I am staying at VWL in August, we rented points from DVC member, and was wondering the mousekeeping schedule. I heard that they clean every 4th day, is that true? On the other days do they come at all, like to make the beds and leave towels?

For stays of 4+ nights you get Trash and Towel service on Day 4. During T&T service, all of the bath towels are replaced, trash is emptied, and some consumables are replaced (dishsoap, laundry soap if w/d in room). For the T&T day, housekeeping does not make beds, run the vaccuum or do anything else other than the items previously listed. They'll be in-and-out in about 3 minutes.

For stays of 8+ nights you get a full cleaning on Day 4 and T&T service on Day 8.

The scheduled days can be changed at check-in if you wish. If you want additional services, you must pay for them. The cost varies depending upon the size of the villa.

Trash & Towel: $10 per day
Studio full cleaning: $25 per day
1B: $30
2B: $40
Grand Villa: $60

FYI, if you want full housekeeping, you need to pay additional for it. The cost depends on the size unit you are in. You CAN order fresh towels each day for $6 additional.

If you are in a 1 bedroom or larger, you will have a washer and dryer in your unit. If you are in a studio, there are free laundry facilities available to you. Don't know exactly where they are at VWL though.

Timeshares typically do not have housekeeping.
