Mousekeeping in connecting rooms?

We are staying at Pop next month and will have connecting rooms. Will we have the same person for mousekeeping both rooms? I guess what I really want to know is how much I will need to budget for a tip-2 separate envelopes or 1?

Not sure about the connecting rooms but I do know that our room and the room right next to us at the CBR had two different mousekeepers. We often saw then coming in and out of the rooms.

I also have booked connecting rooms next month. We decided to split the money into two envelopes. There will be 5 people total so we decided to leave an envelope in each room with $3 in them every morning.

We will have 6 people total-2 adults in one room 4 kids in the other so I guess I'll print more envelopes! I'll put $4 in the one for the kids room since their room will probably require more cleaning.

ETA: How many days should I plan to tip. We check in Monday night and we leave Fri. morning. Would that be 3 (Tue,Wed,Thur) or 4 (Tue-Fri). Thanks.

Visit the Creative DISigns forum. You will find a thread on Mousekeeping. It has designs that you can print on envelopes on your home computer to leave the tips in. WARNING:That forum is addictive. There are a lot of creative people who are willing to share designs to make personalized shirts, autograph pages, dinner invitations,etc.

We used to leave the tip in both rooms but leave the door open between them. One day we came back from the park early to find the tip gone from both rooms and only one clean . Mousekeeping was just finishing in the first room and it was another mousekeeper that went in the second room. This was near the end of our trip so I have to wonder if the second room cleaner ever recieved her tip. Ever since than we close the door between the two rooms when we leave in the morning and leave a tip in both rooms.
