Since Mousekeeping will come only once during my trip (and most likely on the 2nd to last day), what do you feel is customary for tipping?

Mousekeeping is not a tipped position. However, if they've done something special for you, I'm sure they would appreciate a few dollars.

Mousekeeping loves tips and it usually gets you extra towels, etc. We don't have a set amount but the standard for any motel is $1 per person per day. I kind of look at our room and decide how bad it is and how much they have to work around and go from there. Anything is appreciated! We also leave extra pop, water, whatever is still sealed behind. If they can't take it home they can use it in their break room.

We don't tip for Trash & Towel, but do when we leave or if we stay long enough to get a full cleaning. Amount depends on the size of the unit - we always leave the room in good condition.

Best wishes -

We are usually gone when trash and towel day comes around. I usually leave a note if there is anythign that we may need additional. If there isnt I always still leave a note saying thanks for the great job. Depending on our request for needs we leave anywhere between $3.00- $10.00.

Tipping is always a personal decision. But Disney considers this not to be a tipped position so I only tip if they go above and beyond the expected.

Last year we were a party of 7 at VB for 4 days. I left $20.00. We had cleaned up after ourselves but after cleaning out the fridge there was a lot of trash and since it was 6:00AM we opted to leave it for mousekeeping rather than awaken any guests.
