MouseFest questions

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this questions, but it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else. I'm toying with the idea of attending the Mega Mouse meet at the Swan and Dolphin on December 3rd. It's seems to be the only event that doesn't take place in the parks, but there's no information about it on the web site.

Has anyone here attended this event in the past? Did you have to pay a registration fee? What happens when you get there? The reason I ask is because I've already had my one big WDW vacation this year, and I really can't afford to pay for any of the events that are taking place in the parks and this seems like a nice alternative, but only if it's not as expensive as an actual park ticket.

Also, does the Swan and Dolphin charge for parking if you do not have reservations?

The Swan does not charge for parking if you are going to a dinner, event, etc. there (just tell them.) There was no fee for the Mega Mouse Meet last year. It was a lot of fun. Got pictures with Bob S. from the Unoffical Guides, Deb Willis, etc. Lots of giveways (contests, keychains, lanyards, etc..)
