Mousefest 2005

Anyone know the tentative schedule for this event? I believe they converge on Disney in early Dec and also do a cruise. Have they set the days they'll be doing each park yet? Thanks!

The RADP group has their park days posted. The Mousefest group has not. But in the past the days have been similar if not identical. One thing that may throw a monkey wrench into the MF group's park days this year is the fact that they are leaving on their cruise on the Sunday (12/4) which might effect their park days. Usually, they cruise before the WDW portion. This year it is after or more accurately, during.

Last year it was held in the ballroom at the Dolphin and it was very successful I would expect the same this year.

Not sure if we're going to try and do this during our trip, but I wanted to plan accordingly for # of days visiting the parks. Sounds like if we do decide to do the Mega Mousefest meet on Sat...it won't be a park day.

Yea, but aren't you going to encounter Pop Warner cheerleaders instead?? Both weekends can be pretty full because of these 2 large groups. I think I'll keep my Dec. 1-5 ressie and stay with the mousefest group. I can't remember the exact date of the Pop Warner invasion, but am sure someone on the boards knows, or will be there. (I think last year there was some overlap which caused some parks to reach capacity--December 11th MGM (we were there)..OMG the biggest crowd I ever seen! Resorts were filled and not a room to be found anywhere! I'm still having nightmares about it.

Just found it on the disney site: " Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex will host the Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer and Dance Championships from December 4 - 10, 2005. "

Looks like our vacation will overlap with this event but only for a few days.
