Mouseboats & PI

Teens please help. My 16 yr old son won't check out the Disboards himself and we have some questions I think someone here can answer.

This summer we will be at SSR. Two teen boys want to rent mouse boats. Where can we do this from? I know the Contemporary resort rents them, but is there a place closer to DTD to rent mouseboats. How old do you need to be to drive them? How much do they cost to rent?

Boys want to go to Pleasure Island. Is there a teen club at PI? I know that anyone can walk around PI without a ticket and just need a ticket to get into clubs, but other than the Comedy Club is there anything at PI for teens to do? Thanks!

I don't know anywhere near DTD that you can rent mouseboats... I do know all the resorts around (brain freeze) that lake - Contemporty, GF, and Poly - you can rent them from.
And as to how old? I don't know. But I drove one by myself when I went in '03, and I was 15. And I have no idea how much they are to rent. I think it was something around $15 for 30 or 45 minutes.

and the pleasure island stuff? I'm not sure. I've never been there.
