Mouse in my house

Oh my!!!! My electric stove is now in my garage,torn apart--found out a mouse was living in my stove --GROSS--it burrowed itself into the insulation and was living there--the stove is less than a year old so we have to replace the insulation at a cost of $147--have been going crazy cleaning and trying to figure out how it got in--found a small hole --pretty brazen rodent as we have a cat & 3 dogs--the dogs were the ones who tipped us off to it--they were sniffing at the stove everytime they went by-- Mousetraps set in several places--none caught yet--GROSSED OUT

My daughter would be having a holy fit if I had traps. She's 9... so it's like "Oh dont kill it! Set it free!"
Oddly enough she gets that straight from me... but I have a saying "If it comes in my house... it's going bye-bye." Personally I hate spiders more than mice. I'm afraid of spiders getting in my hair or my mouth when I sleep!

that kind of mouse is not welcome at my house! When we moved here, there was a rodent problem so I can totally relate. DH who isn't a cat person no longer asks them when they are getting a job, they must have earned their keep since we haven't seen one in over a year, with the exceptions of occasional presents on the doorstep.

Good thing is I can't cook until the stove is put back together and brought back in the house--take out for a few days
