Can you still get mouse ears with your name on them at MK or did they stop that? If you can, is it still at the Chapeau Shop?

We did it at the store in FantasyLand next to PeterPan and Mickey's Philharmonic

It took about 10 minutes but there weren't many people ahead of us. I think it was $3.95ish for the regular script writing and 4 color choices and 7.95 for block writing and 9 color choices. Or something like that.

I grew up around all the women in my family doing handmade "fancy work" as my grandpa would call it. So, I definitely appreciated handmade and hand stitched.

But at that moment, I was grateful to see the computer and the machine so we could get the ears and move on with our day.

I worked at Disneyland from 1979-1994 and personalized THOUSANDS of hats. You say it was a quick and simple 10 minutes, the old way doing it by hand with the sewing machine took about 10 SECONDS. It was a talent that took training. Imagine writing in cursive with your pen or pencil underneath the table and your pen or pencil is a handle that only goes in circles, but the writing comes out on top of the table. You also have no control on the sped.

It took 10 minutes because there were people in line ahead of us. LOL.
Ultimately once she got the hat on the machine it was done super fast.
