For the boats at the Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian, you must be sixteen in order to drive. They ask for identification and you must sign a form (can't remember exactly what the form said, though!!) You can take a passenger of any age - each person must wear a life jacket, and they are provided at the dock. There is a brief training session at the dock and you are told where you may and may not drive. It is so much fun!!!! But you must obey the rules for safety's sake - and a word of advice -take a plastic bag of some sort if you have a purse or cell phone. We had an "incident" with a wave from the ferry and I ended up having to buy a new cell phone!!!!
