Mountain Buggy double stroller: Does it fit in the monorail...

without folding it down?

Believe it or not, it's one of our considerations when buying a new stroller...
 
You're not alone. . . that was one of our considerations as well. Although I don't have a Mountain Buggy, we do have a Valco twin. It's huge. If the monorail was not crowded, the CM let us go in the handicapped car (assuming of course that no one else required that space). If it was clear for us, I was able to roll it right on. If the monorail was crowded, I folded it out of courtesy to other riders. Hope this helps.

It does. Based on your post, I'm ordering the Mountain Buggy today. 6 weeks until daughter number two makes her grand entrance into the world and the fact that the Mountain Buggy has an adapter for a carrycot was my main selling point. Glad to hear that the CMs will allow double strollers on the wheelchair cars, when available. I was wondering about that. Thank you very much!! :thumbsup2
