Who is Going To WDW Next Week?
The Mount Girls.
Who Has The Only All Girls HS Marching Band In The State of NY?
The Mount Does.
Who Will Be Marching at MK Tuesday 4/15?
The Mount Will.
And, Who'll Be Proudly Taking Pictures?
Me.
Since my first trip with my Dad, brother and sister in '84, through the last nine trips - there really is no place like "home".
But this is different.
Imagine getting out of Buffalo - Yay!
Heading to vacation - Yay!
And...
Seeing your two daughters and 150 of their closest friends marching on Main St. USA.
Doesn't get a lot better, does it?
I'll fly down at the crack of dawn on Monday, having avoided the very very long bus ride - sorry, it can't be helped. And then somewhere along the line I'll meet up with my kids - and their classmates, while they're rockin' WDW.
I'll do my best to remain a relatively cool Dad, at this place that has been such a special, magical, real, educational, loving, rainy!, awesome destination for us.
I will continue my insane overblown "fact-finding" mission on all things Jungle Cruise.
I'll hope my girls have a chance at paint brushes, after a very important raft ride taught by Mel.
I'll smile (really broadly) at Wishes, and understand what ZZUB feels, when he's on Main St.
I'll have an LGMH on my backpack.
I'll see parents of band and dance team members in a place so absurdly out of context it'll make our heads spin.....
And I'll be wheels up, out of Buffalo/Niagara, in about 80 hours.
I can't wait......
