Motorola 2 way radios for bathroom?

LOL - how do these radios work? If my son was to go into the bathroom with the radio turned on could I hear him? I'm a paranoid mother who just got this idea.

The only way you could hear him is if he kept the talk button pushed down the entire time he was in there. That could be a little difficult LOL. I guess you could tape down the button before he walked in though. My son is seven and I make sure dh goes in with him or he goes in with me or we use a companion bathroom if there is no one waiting for it. I still don't feel comfortable about letting him go in the mens room alone.

About a year ago he started refusing to go into the women's room even when other boys are in with their moms. Im always taking him places but my husband is definately stay at home.

You might want to test it out somewhere like a local mall to make sure it works first.
