Okay - I'm a total wimp and think that I might not be able to go on some rides because I think I get motion sickness....not 100% sure though. Every time I fly I take draminen because I don't want to get sick so I take precautions.
Any tips on what else I can do to make sure I don't get sick?....Anyone have tips on which rides to avoid (at all costs- LOL)?
I've never been on a true rollercoster so I'm not sure what to expect. The closest I've come is going to Noahs Ark and riding the water rides! So looking for any and all advice....I see all of these little kids on the rides and think that if they can do it - so can I!!!!

. I have 4 kids and none of them have ever taken dramamine, I get sick just swinging a couple of times on a swing. We do long car trips and have flown several times. I would suggest that you start slow. If you can do Dumbo and the carousel, then try The Barnstormer, which is a kiddie roller coaster. After that try Big Thunder Mountain RR and move up to Space Mountain. Rockin' Roller Coaster and the new Everest ride are much faster, wilder, so save those for last. You have to remember, though, that people who DO have motion sickness are generally each bothered by different things. Some people love coasters but can't stand spinning. Some are more bothered by the simulator rides than by real coasters. Some people can't stand bumpy/jerky rides but smooth coasters are okay. It really affects each person differently. Some people swear by ginger tablets, but that doesn't work for severe cases like mine. Some love Bonine but I had BAD side effects from it....I would say if you have never gotten sick in a car/plane/boat you would probably be okay on most of the stuff at WDW. Just start slow and try not to get yourself all worked up before you even know if you have motion sickness or not.
). I stumbled upon sea bands when I was learning how to fly since a lot of the standard medications made me too groggy to feel comfortable piloting a glider. They are a wrist band that has a little knobby thing to provide pressure to a point in your wrist that prevents motion sickness.
