How is Disney World on Mother's Day? Crowds? Weather? Has anyone done the Mother's Day brunch at Epcot? We are thinking of going for a long weekend and staying at the Polynesian. We have a 3 and 5 year old. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

We were there Mother's day last year. Epcot was busier than it had been when we went earlier that week but it wasn't too bad. We ate at Chef Mickey's so I can't answer your question about the brunch. I think it was around 90 degrees that day and it didn't rain.

I forgot to mention the flower and garden festival will be going then. The flowers and other creations were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

My mom flies in every year on the morning of mother's day and spends the week. It's her gift to herself. She loves it at that time. Although, it does tend to be rather hot. But she loves that the parks are not really crowded and she can go back in the afternoon and take a swim or hit a water park. She also loves the Flower & Garden festival. She's been going this week for as long as I can remember.

I was there last year for Mother's day week and in 1998. Last year was noticeably less crowded than 1998.. I think the longest wait I had that week was about 20 minutes.

Welcome to the DIS, droycro! I'm so glad that you found us and I hope you can visit often. I've never toured WDW on mother's day, though, so I can't answer your question.

I'm sure some of our veterans can offer advice, though.
