Mother's Day Weekend

I'm planning a quick spur of the moment (saw cheap airfares) for just me & my two kids for Mother's Day Weekend. We have AP's and will probably go once or twice more so DH will run out of vacation so he'll stay home and take care of the Shelties.

Do veterans think May 6 (arriving late) and leaving late Monday the 10th will be crowded? I would think most of the Spring Breaks around the country would be OVER and DONE with. It will be my DS 6 and DD 10 plus this will count as his b-day trip on the 19th but I can't hardly leave DD at home either.

I just submitted my quote request to Dreams for rooms so keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Any big problems with many rides considering there will be three of us instead of the usual four? I'm thinking on most stuff 10 yr. old can ride alone and me with 6 soon to be 7 yr. old or others they can ride together and me alone.

Any other hints for Mom's going solo with the kids???

We arrived Saturday of Mother's Day weekend in 2000, 2001 & 2003, it wasn't that crowded. They give out flowers at the gate on Mothers Day and have free pictures taken at Epcot (similiar to the MVMCP pictures).

I'll be sure and have us wearing something Disney that compliments each other well. Maybe our tropical Reyn Spooner Disney stuff, fun and looks good too! Guess we'll leave our Santa Mickey hats at home though! LOL This will be my first time in the parks with just me and the kids, my husband asked several times before I clicked purchase on the airline tickets IF I thought I was sure we'd be ok and its like I'm with them ALL DAY 24 x 7 for the past TEN years, yeah I think I can handle it!!!
