Mother's day presents?

I purchased the Everyday Food Cookbook and a years subscription to the Everyday Food Magazine for my mom. I was able to get both for about $35.00 on Amazon. When I was at Boarders a few days ago I saw that they were selling the cookbook for $27.99! Yea for Amazon and free shipping!!

My mom is going with us on our next WDW trip, so I bought her some things from Michael's and Dollar Tree (pamper items, journral, etc) and made custom labels for them.

Last year we sent flowers to both moms. Not sure yet what we are doing for DMIL.

My mom has a cheetah print roll on suitcase she takes on every vacation, and I found a laptop bag in a matching print that I bought for her. She's also getting some candy and a picture from dd.

Bought a reusable bag from Disneystore.com with the little green alien from Toy Story on it for Earth Day and a Disney throw that was on sale. I did this for both mom and MIL. They'll be thrilled because it's something they can use.

This year's gift will be extra special and I can't wait to see her reaction! I made my mom a 21-page 12x12 tribute storybook from Heritage Makers. She's 75 years old. It has her baby pics, pics from our childhood, vacations, holidays, etc. and pics with her grandsons, etc. This is something I've always wanted to do, and I finally scanned the photos and wrote a few stories to go with the pics. It was all done online. I'll probably ending up ordering two more copies so my sisters can have their own.

Last year my sisters and I had a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory shipped to my mom out of state. Cheesecake is her favorite food!

I made cards at shutterfly with the girls pictures on them and we'll get her some flowers.

My mother is gone, but my husband made a nice basket of pansies with plants from the greenhouse for my MIL. Then we stopped at a tag sale today and found a terrific hand done cross stitch with an appropriate saying for mother's day. It was professionally framed and just lovely. I know she'll enjoy it.

We also usually take her a few tomato plants every year.
