I know it is really far off, but it looks like the best time to take my vacation this year would be in May. If we travel in May then we will be at WDW on Mother's Day.
We would stay 11 nights. We will have a day at Sea World + a day at the Beach. Also, DS really wants to stay at AKL.
I am considering staying at AS Sports with no DP the first 3 nights and visiting Sea World and the beach during this time. Then transferring over to CSR the day before Mother's Day, for the bulk of our trip (7 N with QSDP). Then checking into AKL for the last night of our trip. (I know it is a lot of changing, but we have done split stays before -just not 3 resorts!)
We will be doing Trail's End (OOP) and then the camfire/movie one night. We will probably do Beaches & Cream (OOP).
Now, I am looking for something special on Mother's Day. I am thinking maybe a late breakfast at Ohana with Stitch or Crystal Palace for either Breakfast or Lunch.
This would be the fewest sit down we have done and also the first trip without Chef Mickey's.
Any suggestions/opinions would be great. Any first hand experiences of Mother's Day at WDW would be great.
