Mother's Day dinner - Mom's first time!

DH and I have been to WDW over 30 times - and I am sooo excited, that this May, my Mother is going to meet us at WDW for Mother's day!
My Mom will be 62 yrs old and has never ever been to WDW! imagine that!?!

so.. now I cant think clearly cause I am so excited, and I have been to just about every restaurant in WDW - but where would you think we should have Mother's day dinner,
I do not want to do the mothers day brunch at Epcot, did it a few yrs ago - not too keen on it-

will probably do a character breakfast in the morning - Mom's first one! and then want a nice dinner -
am thinking along the lines of Flying Fish - or Yachtsman - or possibly in World Showcase........
what would you pick?

It will be me, dh, my Mom and her husband

California Grill would be my pick.

I agree with Ron, I think California Grill would be a wonderful treat for your mom. Or maybe Boma at AKL.

Since Boma is a buffet, I'd go for California Grill--a nice restaurant (tho a bit loud) and a view that is pure WDW!!

I would take her to Jiko and then tour the AKL. This will take most of your evening, plus the food and service are usually very good.

Hmmm... also like Artist Pointe at WL... and recently we ate upstairs at Bistro de Paris in Epcot which was lovely....just some added thoughts.

As she has never been to WDW, California Grill is a good choice as you can go out on the roof and see the view of the parks.. food is good too...

I would do CRT or CP for character bfast at MK. Pure Disney. Then I would change it up alot and do Bistro de France. Without kids, a great choice. But if you want something REALLY fancy and to truly see another side of WDW, you could always do V&A!! Talk about SPECIAL!!
