Mother's Day Crowds??

Does anyone have the deal on Mother's Day crowds? I'm thinking of planning a quick trip with the family and might arrive that day. I was just there over Christmas and swore I would never go again during such a busy time (we usually go off-peak).

Another interested party wants to know. We will be there for Mother's Day weekend. I will be meeting up with my cousin (a Florida resident) and she says May is a good time but I don't think she realizes it is Mother's Day weekend.

We were there for Mother's Day in 2000 & 2001 and I didn't think it was overcrowded. We went to Epcot in the morning for the complimentary picture and then MK in the afternoon with dinner at Cinderella's. I noticed the crowds thinned out later in the afternoon since there were no fireworks.

Can you tell us more about the pictures? Are they just at Epcot or do all of the parks have MD pictures? What is the cost?

They do them at Epcot, it's part of the Flower & Garden Festival. They are free, they are mailed to you like the MVMCP pictures. They also give mom's a flower.

We got ours done at Norway in 2001, they use the lake as the background.
