Mother's Day brunches or dinners

Any recommendations for the Pickering - Bowmanville area? We do not normally eat out at many places, so I do not know many places. My husband suggested the Mandarin, which we do like, but I wondered about a new/different place to try instead.

I'm not sure if my mom would prefer a brunch or dinner so I'm looking for good places for both. We like buffets but do not mind a table service type meal instead.
