In 2005 they had "hero" characters such as Hercules and Peter Pan in the waiting area at World Showplace, and once inside the main dining area the atmosphere was very adult. Low lighting, a strolling guitarist, no characters.
It is a lovely meal with lots of selections. I hope you enjoy iy!
UncleScrooge: No, it's just a buffet. I guess it's the same logic that has many restaurants across the country charge more for dinner on Valntine's Day and Mother's Day....supply and demand!
Mogulskr: There were plenty of kids of all ages at the brunch. Just don't expect it to be like a character meal where kids will be entertained! Allearsnet has the price at 44.99 plus tax and I think that is the price for everyone. EDIT: (The post below me seems to prove me wrong about the kids price!)
We made reservations but i think I may cancel. i can have a really nice dinner for that price at another restraunt. We will have 5 adults and 1 child. They quoted me a price od $44.99 for adults and $19.99 for children 3-9 years old. That would be a total of $244 + tax for our family. I have LeCelier for that night and we can eat there for a little more.
I can see the more adult atmosphere for Valentines Day, but on Mothers Day I would expect to see a lot of kids. I thought I remember reading somewhere that there were Prince & Princesses there for autographs and pictures.
It is held in the World Showplace, which is the former Millennium Village.
As I mentioned above, there are some characters there for pictures and autographs in the waiting area before you are seated. At least that's the way it was in 2005. There were NO characters in the dining area.
