I'm going to be at WDW with one of my 6 year old boys over Mother's Day and our current plan is to be at AK that day. We are already doing Tiffins for dinner that night so I'm trying to figure out something for lunch. My DS doesn't usually have much in the way of options from QS here so I was trying for Tusker House but there is no availability that day. Is it worth a trip over to Boma for their brunch? I've never been to AKL at all but I was thinking this could be our afternoon break and spend some down time exploring the resort. Does that sound like a good plan? We don't usually break on AK days because it's a calmer shorter day but now that they are open later I think DS may need it.

My other option was to potentially head to Cape May Café at BC, so he could get a character meal, but it seems like maybe a hassle to go that far.

Well, I love Boma, really enjoy all of the options, and if price isn’t an issue, go for it. The reason I say this is, we went with friends who have not only a light eater but he’s also picky. She felt that the price charged for him verses the 3 chicken nuggets he consumed was excessive. If that’s not an issue for you and you can’t find him a character opportunity, for us Boma has always been enjoyable.

We went to Boma for Mother's Day brunch last year & it was my favorite meal of the trip. It was pretty crowded & cramped in there but the food was delicious & service was great. We even walked out back after & saw animals & got great pictures. We were a party of 7 & everyone loved it.

You just cannot go wrong with Boma's and afterward you can rest while walking around the incredible resort in nice air conditioning or walk out to the various animal watching spots.

Bomas is very good for a buffet. The only question is if you want to take the time to leave the park and come back through security. Even though it isn't a long drive, you can still take a fair amount of time depening on how th ebuses are running. If yo uare looking for a break from the parks, AKl is a great place to do it. Lots to see and beautiful to walk around.

Loved Boma! We walked around the resort afterwards and watched the animals from the viewing area. Nice leisurely time!
