DS, 8, had a project due for school last Friday. I had the paper in a place where I could see it to work on it last weekend But guess what-it disappeared so I forgot! He comes home from school Friday to tell me his project is due Monday, I had forgotten it-but even worse it was really due Friday and teacher gave him until Monday. Ugh! This is the 1st. time I have forgotten a school project for one of my kids. I feel like such a reject and worse yet he loves lions and tigers which would have been good but.....he picks the Komodo Dragon. Lol, I know know more about the Komodo than I ever thought possible. I should add here that DS is mainstreamed but out of class 5 afternoons a week and with help in class 3 mornings a week for a learning disability. His homework is dramatically modified so I think that is why this slipped my mind so easily-he usually has little or none!

Isn't it amazing how much work having kids in school is? It really tests my organizational skills sometimes. Good luck on the project!

I feel your pain. And I now know more about squids than any accountant should! All thanks to my 3rd graders speech last term.
