Mother-In-Laws(and future MIL's): What Do You Want To Be Called?

I hate to be called Mrs. so my first names would be it. I call my MIL her first name too.

DH and I call our in-laws by their first names. Always have.

we have always called ours by their first name also. i have told my only son in law that i want to be called Mommie Dearest though.

During basketball season I have 30+ high school boys, their girlfriends, younger siblings, friends, and some of the coaches and parents calling me MOM!

I would much rather be called MOM rather than Mrs. Lastname.

I call my mother in law by her first name, and my future daughter in laws are free to call me by my first name, Mom, etc.... whatever they choose.

I just don't understand being obsessed with such a trivial thing.

Although I wouldn't choose to be called Mrs. Lastname by anyone - if my future daugter in laws choose to call me that then I'll accept it.
