It's just so hard to predict how people will react to HDD. My stepdad made fun of Fantasmic, but really liked HDD. Most people seem to get into it and enjoy it for what it is, but then you see a few sticks-in-the-mud who seem to think it is "beneath" them.

But, Fantasmic and HDDR are two completely different entertainment experiances. It makes sense that the same person might have a stronger preference to one over the other.
