We are staying at the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate. Part of the reason I picked this hotel was because of the good reviews and the fact that people said it was easy to use ART to get to the parks.

So how does ART work? Where can I buy tickets, or do you just pay when you get on the bus? How much is it? How often does it run? Where do I catch it?

We're leaving in 2 weeks. So excited that I can't stand it!! LOL!

You will use the ART #8 bus. That bus will pick up in the parking lot of the Motel 6. My wife and I are AP's and stay at Worldmark which is the next stop on Route 8, after the Motel 6, so I have used it often the last few years. The bus stops at Motel 6, Worldmark, and Gardenwalk, then Disneyland. Once at Disneyland you will exit and enter the bus at the number 8 stop (easier than it sounds if you are not familiar with the shuttle area at Disneyland).

I know the Worldmark has a kiosk to buy tickets but I am not sure about the Motel 6 (I would call them). You can buy a multi day ticket that will have an expiration date. The bus picks up about every 15-20 minutes and keeps making the loop. The system works great. You can take Uber or a cab from the airport if you are flying and then use Art to get to and from the park.

ART will also take you to other areas and all of the ART shuttles eventually stop at Disneyland so you can transfer to whichever bus you want depending on where you are going.

Motel 6 had a kiosk in the lobby. Ask at the desk if you can't locate it.
