Sorry took me so long to add to my trip report.... busy with Holidays....
So like I said I stayed on the ship on Nassau day. We had Parrot Cay that night and we had an awesome server from Jamiaca named Robert and him and my 5 year old DD hit it off..
He had her out on the floor doing the limbo line and having a blast. Next day was Castaway Cay day and my Aunt had us all up early and ready to get off the ship at 8:00am....We finally got off about 8:30 and got some great chairs on the family beach. The water is the most beautiful I have ever seen....It does get very crowded and very quickly.
The kids had a blast. I snorkled the snorkel area and saw some of the buried treasures and some really big fish. I brought my own snorkel,but they provided the life vest. The weather was just perfect
About 11:00 we took the kids and ate lunch and it was very good again. Love the Chocolate chip cookies. Then my best friend and my Boyfriend had timed it just right to check the kids in for the Whale bone dig at the kids club... We headed to serenity bay for a couple hours... That place is heaven Nothing like the family beach....No crowds anywhere....We got a Konk cooler and relaxed by the water and listened to Jimmy Buffet playing at the bar.....So nice...... Everyone should atleast experience an hour there... It is hard when you have kids. We did snorkel and I saw a star fish and two big stingrays swiming around with me....So awesome...What an experience!! We were so glad we took the time to go and never did get paged. We ended up going back at 2:00 to get the kids and they were more than ready. That kids area is really hot!!! I would not leave a kids there more than a couple of hours. So we went back to the ship and got a shower and the kids a nap..
That night we took the kids to Disney Dreams and fed them Pizza and then us adults headed to Palo....Best meal on the ship...OMG so good...I had the Filet and then the Chocolate Souffle...They really take care of you there and treat you right. We had the best time. Disney will really spoil you.... We all had big plans to stay up late,but none of us every made it....Too tired from our day. We did get in the hot tub for a bit and then headed to get the kids who had a blast making Flubber... Then we headed to bed... OH yes, we did stay up for the buffet and sail away party in Nassau... Not too many people went...We had a good time..Not very crowded...The buffet was good. I love walking the decks at night when the ship is empty....
Ok, That wraps up Castaway Cay day..... I love thinking back...Wish I was there now!! My Cousin leaves for Land and Sea Thursday and they are in the secret porthole room 5020 that we were in....Loved it!
