Most treasured Disney moment???

In 1997, we went to WDW and we were at MGM. My daughter was 5 years old and she had been searching all over for Mickey Mouse during our stay. We rounded a corner and I heard this squeal of absolute delight and my daughter pointing, yelling "there is Mickey Mouse Mommy. " It was the sweetest moment and got even better when she was able to hug him and have her picture taken with him.

My other treasured moment was at the Crystal palce that same trip. My son was 4 and had been terrified on the Characters at the various resturauants. This trip he hugged Trigger so tightly I thought he was going to knock him down. From that time on, it was autograph city for him.

On the most recent one was when my daughter convinced my son that the BarnStormer was no big deal and talked him into riding it. I was in the car with him and the look on his face was sherr joy. Overcoming a fear and find out what fun roller coasters all in on ride. :D

For me, our first trip to Disney. It was the first time our family was alone together since the birth of our younger DD (who turned 10 yesterday, sniff). DH's sister lived with us before DD was born, and was still with us 9 months after DD arrived, so we "escaped" to WDW for a few days of quality family time. Being in MK at night, riding rides with our older DD (who was 6 at that time) was such a neat, relaxing experience. But the best was our last day. We had a character breakfast at CR, and all the characters were coming over, signing older DD's book. Well, Tigger came over, looked at little DD sitting in her high chair, signaled to me to wipe her mouth, then lifted her into his arms and cradled her. Now, I should mention that little DD was born with Downs Syndrome, and we were still dealing with the fact that our little girl wasn't "normal". Well, looking at how Tigger just held her and cuddled her, made me realize that she was going to be just fine, thank you very much!

Two years later, we went back to WDW. At MGM, we saw Tigger again, and little DD ran right to him, and he gave her a big hug. Four years later, another trip, and another huge hug for Tigger at the character breakfast at CP. Can you figure Tigger is a favorite? (Actually, Snow White won out our last trip last year, when during Spectromagic, she stopped and talked and kissed little DD on the forehead during the parade. Later, in Epcot, another kiss and hug from Snow White clinched it for her.)
