Most Romantic Moment at WDW?

My boyfriend and I will be going to Disney this December and it's his first time. I've always thought WDW is a very romantic place and wanted to know what other people have found to be special and romantic things to see or do at Disney? Thanks for your help!

I'm sure most people have had more romantic moments than mine, but my husband and I like to stay in MK after Wishes is over. Let everyone else clear out, then it's like the park and the castle are just for you. If you wait long enough, you get to hear the "kiss goodnight" when Jiminy Cricket and Mickey say goodnight to you. I know some romantic things I want to do in the future, but so far, that's it for me!

Seeing the castle in the evening, walking on beach at the Grand Floridian, standing on the bridge between the BWI and Y&B Club watching illuminations, renting Breathless and cruising the lagoon, illuminations or wishes cruise, the list goes on and on. Anything in the evening is wonderful.

Haven't been to WDW yet (July 05') but once at Disneyland, Mrs. GG looked deep into my eyes, gently put her arms around me and said, " If you buy me a churro, I'll give you a hug and a kiss!"

My boyfriend and I went to WDW last september. It was his first time staying onsite so I got to show him a lot of cool things like EWP, Wishes, the monorail, all the different resorts, etc. When I was little and I would go to WDW with my family we would stay at the Poly and I always dreamed that one day I would be there with my boyfriend/husband and we could walk on the beach together holding hands and sit and watch EWP together. Well, we did that the first night and it was just like I always imagined it would be. Very romantic. Then we took the boat over to MK and went back to POR where we were staying. I found the whole trip to be very romantic for the two of us. POR has a 1/2 hour carriage ride and even though we didn't get to do it (this time) because of time restraints, we definitly plan on it next time. Wishes was very romantic too we watched it from right in front of the castle with our arms around each other and it was the best!!

I also had visions when I was little of getting engaged and married at WDW.............we'll see if I ever get to actually experience those too.....someday.....

WDW can be as romantic as you make it! Go for it!! You'll have a blast!

I think we had the same vision! When I was younger, I went to Poly with my family and always dreamed of what it would be like to have a guy there to experience everything with. I can't wait to go with him because he can't believe that WDW is anything more than a place for kids. He's in for a surprise! I'm crossing my fingers for maybe a ring while we're there, but mainly that we both have a great time. Thanks for all of the tips!

Our first trip alone in 11/2001 DH and I were sitting near lake at EPCOT outside of Canada. The sun was setting and he reached over and put a bagette (SP?) on my pinky to go with my wedding band and engagement ring. It was getting dark, heck I can't see so I say "Oh honey it is beautiful.....Mickey ears", lol. He says no and proceeds to place it on my wedding ring finger around my engagement ring. I was a blushing bride of 16 years! When we went alone in 2003, we were sitting outside Norway waiting for Illuminations to begin. Again dark and all weekend he kept placing his fingers around my wrist which was freaking me out-I know now he was trying to measure it. He had bought me a gorgeous gold starfish, sand dollar, and shell bracelet and was trying to make sure it was not too tight as I hate and will not wear tight things. Ahhh I love that guy and am gonna keep him!

When I was little I've always wanted to go with either my BF or DH to WDW/DL. I use to go to DL as a child all the time and I always thought of it as magical and romantic. Well, two years ago I went to WDW for the first time with my DH. We had so much fun and it was very romantic. We went during our honeymoon and we got spoiled rotten. Being in front of the castle kissing romantically was magical to me. Walking around DTD was a lot of fun. Just going on a quiet day/evening was just so much fun and peaceful.

My DBF and I had a really nice time after dinner at the California Grill. They have two observation decks there, and we went out on the back on, and just stood at the end talking and looking at all the lights from MK twinkling. Course, it might have been nicer if my sarong hadn't been blowing open......I was wearing shorts underneath folks, purely G rated. But it was quiet and every now and then a monorail would pass by, but like I said, it was really sweet. And he bought me a necklace the trip before that I was left at home, I wear it every single day.

I booked a wishes cruise with other dis'ers last may. I had matching disney rings with our family's birthstones and diamond's made. Just before the show began, I had the people with flashlights shine them so I could surprise her. It worked. Sometimes the little things make great moments also, like just sitting playing cards in front of the castle at a table at Casey's for a couple of hours.

Watching the fireworks at the Californai Grille with my new DH on our honeymoon was very romantic.

lol Well our idea of romantic is a bit different I've discovered but I'd have to say fighting over the hammocks at the CBR the last time my husband and I were at Disney. We both wound up flipping upside down in it and clinging on to dear life before winding up in the sand. It was a blast together and we just laid there picking out the different stars for awhile.
