First of all, I want to thank everyone who has given me their opinions regarding my question: what's the most relaxing resort...it's been a great help!
Now, I've got things narrowed down and am happy to accept any/all opinions again! For some reason, I like the decor in the WL resort rooms much more than the decor in the villas (just personal opinion!). From what I've seen, I love the look of the BCV. If I can rent points for a studio at BCV, it would actually be less money than paying for a woodsview at WL. So far, so good. My only concerns are: is SAB heated at all? The trip is planned for the first week of February. Also, a quiet location is important since my husband is prone to migraines...any suggestions on location at BCV?
Thanks everyone!

All of the pools at the WDW on site resorts are heated, including SAB.

IMHO, the quieter rooms at BCV will be on the EPCOT side. There are many trees and lots of landscaping on this side. The other side of the villas overlooks the pool. JMHO.

Enjoy your trip!

We stayed at YC and ADORED it!

We went to Epcot everyday! The short walk is so great!

We were in the middle of YC-right by the elevators but it was always quiet.

Have a great trip:D

If you check the DVC board after next week, I think you'll see a lot of reports on BCV. The opening is tomorrow (7/1) & I'm hoping to get some good info when people come back from their trips :D

The non-Epcot side of BCV faces the pool, which could be loud.

We also found that renting points for a studio in a slow season is a great bargain! Especially on the weekdays, when the points needed are lower.

Have a great trip!

When I went to the BC in February, the Stormalong Bay pool was very heated! It was my family's last day at the BC and I still hadn't swam in the amazing pool, which I was desperate to go in. It was rainy, cool, and no one was swimming in it, but I insisted on going in anyway. There was steam coming off the surface and I never even shivered while inside. Getting out was not even that bad either! Just wanted to tell you not to worry about this issue because it WILL be heated, as it was during my stay. It is generally warm enough anyway to go in the pools at WDW in February without much heating.
