Most overlooked ride?

What do you think is the most overlooked ride or atraction at DL (at least within the last year)?

Last time we went, I loved Tarzaan's Treehouse. No waits, lots to do, and a great view of the Rivers of America area. Oh, plus lots of shade, too. ;)

We also loved Small World. Uncrowded, leisurely, and nicely air-conditioned. Happy, cute and uplifting, too. A nice break from the crowds, the heat, and the wait-times.

Okay, how about the rest of you? Which rides/ attractions did you think were the nice little diamonds in the rough (or at least the less heralded ones)?

With young kids we love the Pooh ride. I know this one is not popular with most, but there is never a wait and often times the kids can meet Pooh and friends outside the ride. When Fantasyland is jam packed, this spot always makes my kids happy. Plus its near Splash, so we switch off with the older ones going on Splash while the younger ride Pooh.

DL: Pooh
Pinocchio

DCA (not rides, but attractions): It's Tough to be a Bug
Disney Animation

DL:

Pinocchio
Canoes

DCA:

Orange Stinger (LOVE this ride -- reminds me of my childhood)
Golden Zephyr (no height restriction and nice breeze if it's hot)

a lot of people skip Casey Junior, but we love it, especially riding the caboose (we will wait an extra cycle) and at night in any of the open cars.

I say Casey Junior too. It is a fun little ride. It goes a little faster than one would expect, and it has a bit of a hill.

I love the River Boat. I was DEAD tired, and it was about dusk. I got on the very front of the boat and floated down river slowly. It was soooo soothing. Just sat there on the quiet water. Dont' think teenagers would enjoy it, but tired parents like it.

I would never consider skipping Casey Jr. That is one of our family's favorite rides. Now Storybook boats? That's one we can skip.

Jungle Cruise at night...my aunt and I ALWAYS go on it right before the park closes because it's a nice way to wind down at the end of the day and the jokes tend to be better (plus there's no wait which makes it nice for one last quick ride).

My kids loved the Storybook ride, and we were so excited to see Pooh did not have a line compared to the one at WDW.

Casey Jr was down when we were there so I hope we get to ride it this time.

:thumbsup2 We've done that twice. A nice way to end a day.

& I agree with DangerMouse on Pinocchio. We probably ride it twice a day, since we'll walk by and see no line & on we go. The details are so cool on this short ride that repeated riding allows you to see new "little things" each time we ride it. & the dioramas (is that what they're called?) are always a treat to see.

the last several times I have been, ToT has been basically a walk up with wait times of 5 mins or less

It's not open right now, but "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" is really cool, and a quiet, air conditioned place to spend 1/2 hour or so.

At CA, the animation studios is a really fun place to spend some time--especially the place where you record your voice into a Disney cartoon. My kids and I (who am I kidding, even my HUSBAND and I) can spend hours in there!:lmao:

Hummm,
I guess I would say Big Thunder at night and the train. I just love riding around and around, taking in all the sights.
For DCA I would say the stationary cars on the Sun Wheel, again very relaxing and great views and the Orange Stinger. I love that one, too.:)

I can't believe I have not done Casey Jr. (ok maybe I did it when I was like 5 but I have no memory of it), I think I will give it a try tomorrow.

I love the train, and Jungle Cruise is great at night.

I love the Animation studio I also love on a hot day to go watch the movie in the Wine area called "Seasons of the Wine" yes it is educational but I find it very interesting and it is so cool and comfy in there.

We thoroughly enjoy Honey I Shrunk the Audience. On our first trip we skipped it and last year we went with my brother and his family and we went in because it was so hot and we had a blast, I think we went in three or four times, you could sit down, relax and beat the heat!

I have been to disneyland 50+ times in the last few years and I never noticed casey jr. until the last time we were there in july!!! There was no line so we gave it a try and dd loved it!! I think pinocchio is another favorite that gets overlooked.
