most over rated ride?

I won't argue with you about that, because everyone I speak with who is a WDW local or has went there on vacation said it was horrible.

let me put it to you this way, they could turn that attraction into a restaurant, a play area, a DVC advertising area or even a bathroom and I think it would be a better use of the space. They should rip it aprat and bring back the timekeeper

Now, I fully expect people to complain about rides and advise others not to waste their time by going on it - but, I expect to encounter that by talking to people who have gone to Disney, here on the DIS, maybe even when striking up a conversation with another visitor while at WDW at your resort or maybe a CS restaurant.

The ONLY time I have ever witnessed a guest standing by the RIDE ITSELF and telling people NOT to go on was for Stitch!

Seriously, this woman was saying that the ride terrified her children (by the looks of them, about 5 to 8 year olds), and that for adults, it was just crappy.

It was bizarre - at first she looked like a frantic woman approaching everyone nearby - I thought she was one of those - "the world is coming to an end" loons. She was THAT determined to keep people from going on Stitch!

Wow, I'm surprised that so many people hate the attractions I love! (Soarin, BTMR, Stitch, etc...)

I think Stich's Great Escape is pretty lame. My family and I skip over it every trip. I don't need to sit through that any more than once.

I agree with that one! We would not feel the need to do that on again.

We didn't think the nemo ride or the nemo show was that good and we like nemo!

:rotfl: that lady derves a medal for trying to spare others from that experience!

Test Track and Mission Space were let downs. Horizons and World of Motion were much better for the Disney imagination.

For me, the most of the rides mentioned are okay and I can do them or not. But for me the most boring ride is Spaceship Earth. I did it once when I was a teenager (long time ago). Decided to give it a chance last year (since there was no line) before the renovations. Still most boring ride. The only good part was it was airconditioned.

That's something you don't expect to see in Walt Disney World, even if the attraction is not that good.

Well, as someone who took her advice - and read about how crappy Stitch is - maybe she does. I don't know, we didn't go on.

BUT, you'd think that if a ride that could generate such a reaction in someone, you just might want to consider replacing it with something.

Sometimes, decisions by Disney execs just baffle me.

I won't argue with any of those suggestions. :rotfl2:

Wait, wasn't Monster's Inc the Timekeeper, and Stitch Alien Encounter?

I love stitch though. I don't get why anyone would want it to go away

What's so bad about it? :confused3

maybe the lady just really wanted to ride it and ddint want a long line:confused3

I've never seen a wait for that ride...the fact that the ride is equipped with fastpass cracks me up every time I go

and yes timekeeper was where monster inc is now

Sorry, nope. We were there the week after Labour Day in '06 - at the time she was doing this, there wasn't even more than a 10 minute wait for Buzz.

so, i guess this post isnt sheading any good vibes for epcot????

Well, it's still my kid's favorite park.

Wow. I can't believe how many don't like Soarin'. It's one of our favorites. But to each his own. I just like it because families of all ages can ride together and experience something nice. My Mom, when she was 76, rode it with us including my DS who was 4 at the time. Most rides for that age range my mom wouldn't ride because of a steep drop or they were kiddie rides in Fantasyland.

Now, for me (my kids wouldn't agree) I think TT. You go in a circle, smell burnt rubber, my ears hurt, and gives you whiplash when it test-stops :rotfl: (at least it seemed like it to me)..........all that after a long wait even sometimes with a FP because the ride is constantly breaking down. Three times was good for me. I'm moving on. ;)

Good thing WDW has all these different rides since so many of us like different rides from each other.

Yea, my kids don't even like that one.
