Since joining these boards, I have saved a lot of money buying Disney gc with Target Gift cards and my REDcard. I know have a entire stack of gift cards to enter as payment for my upcoming trip.. I also know that I need to keep these gc in case I would need to cancel my trip, so is there an organized way that you keep track of each gift card once they are entered??? Do you need to number them some how? How do you stay organized? Thanks in advance!

I combined my gift cards on disneygiftcard.com. You can combine up to $1K on one card and have 5 cards max to manage. That way you only need to keep track of a few cards. I literally named them Card 1, Card 2, etc. and wrote that on the card.

Best way to do it!

We number each with a sharpie marker and we keep in a real cool business card holder we once got at the dollar tree years ago, we flip them over when we use them all up or write the balance on them (with a sharpie) if there is still money left on them.

exactly what I did.... used a sharpie! I only have a few cards, but this seems so easy and it actually works!!!!!(saving all gc's just in case something goes glitchy)

oh...I forgot to say, I already had them numbered, so when I was inputting them on the gc site, I just labeled them by the #,to keep track of them. As it was,I had to go back and recheck my cards to make sure I got them all,and keeping them numbered made it simple.

Thanks everyone!! I didn't know about combining cards!!! That will help a ton! Keeping them numbered in a business card holder is a great idea too!!!
Thanks again!!!

I started combining my cards, but I have three separate budgets. The first card is for my upcoming trip so I named it "October 2015". Then, I have one for our annual DVC maintenance fees so that one is "DVC Dues". The third one is for our 2016 trip so that one is "2016 Trip". I can buy gift cards and add them to the appropriate card.

Definitely combine cards! I seem to recall when I was making payments for my hotel prior to arrival, you are only allowed to use maybe 2 forms of payment at a time--so you wouldn't be allowed to enter say 5 $50 gift cards. (I think it was a max of 2. I think I was trying to use up a gift card, a dream reward card, and a credit card and Disney was like Uh, No.)

How did I not know about this? Going to enter them and combine now so I don't have to carry around 30 gift cards!
