How exciting!!! That was the first time that I saw something from my "Mickey's Grand Welcome" in use. I love how you added the flowers to the gift tag! Everything looks great! How did you add the glitter to the t-shirts. Is it fabric glitter and how well does it wash?

OMG!!! Those a fabulous!!!!! How did you get the glitter and the sparkle jewels on the shirts?

Well I washed the shirts before i did them and i used regular school glue, paintbrushes and extra fine glitter (at Michaels craft store) and then I did the shirts like you normally do and then i just sat and painted on the glue where i wanted to put glitter and then i sprinkled glitter on the areas with the glue. I also bought a glitter tool kit at Michaels for about 3.00 and it had a mini spoon cup tool and I used that. So I really dont know how they are gonna wash but I figured if it could last for one day I will be happy .. I am debating on whether to spray it with some sorta protective spray like scotch guard or something like that I am gonna do a tester shirt on a old shirt to see if colors will bleed and I will let you know
and thanks for the complements it took about 3 weeks to glitterfy the shirts but it was worth it :cool1:

Oh I just bought jewels at the craft store and glued gunned them on

Hunter 1211,
The craft stores and walmart have jewels specifically for fabrics that already have adhesive on them. The majority require an iron or heat tool to adhere the jewels to the shirts, but a few are peel and stick.

Bumping... hoping you add more posts.. LOVE to see everything done... it helps to better visualize if it's worth doing certian things.. and sure enough.. your pics prove it's BEYOND worth doing these things to make the trip more magical!

For getting the stones to stick to the shirt, you can use Gem-Tac. It is sold in the glue section of Michael's or ACMoore. It will hold the gems on the iron-ons, but they fall off in the wash. (found that out the hard way...I was picking stones out of the wash when we got home)

OP, you did a great job! I love the sparkle!

What did you put in the baskets?

Oh my! Those shirts are fabulous!! Love the hats too! Love it all actually! YOu did a great job and I am sure people are going to love seeing them as much as you are going to love wearing them!
