Our favorite souvenirs (besides pictures, memories, etc.) were the two goofy plates we got. The kids loved eating off of those plates and being reminded of their cruise!
It has to be our memories. Our very first cruise ever was the inaugural 7-day cruise in August 2000. The whole cruise experience is forever etched in my mind. Captain Hans signed a limited edition poster that hangs at the top of our stairs at home as a daily reminder of that first cruise. But it's the memory of that cruise and subsequent Disney cruises that are most precious.
I love my DCL pillowcase. On my first vacation away from my parents (my 2nd Disney Cruise) my mom and dad bought me one of those packages that are waiting in your room when you first come into your stateroom. Included in that package you get a pillowcase with the pictures of the ship on it and a bedtime book. You can't get that pillowcase anymore and I will never let that pillowcase leave my bed. (Drives my boyfriend crazy!!!)
Second favorite souvenier is my sand dollar from Castaway Cay. It was my first time snorkeling and my boyfriend at the time picked up three sand dollars to help me remember my first snorkeling adventure. Two broke getting home and one remains. I love it.
Our favorite souvenirs are the photos we took. No better way to remember all the great fun we had! Our most special souvenir is the glass Christmas ornament of the Wonder, which we had autographed by the Captain. We can hardly wait to get one next year on the Magic, and have it signed by the Captain as well.
