We will be at US/IOA for 5 days at the end of June with DS(5) and DD(8). We are staying at HRH. We would like to plan one "splurge" restaurant. The rest of our meals will be at less expensive take out places to save time and $$. Which restaurant would you recommend for the most FUN atmosphere, food is only the 2nd priority? We won't have a car so we have to be able to walk for take US transportation.

FYI - our favorite WDW restaurant is Chef Mickey's. Thanks!

If it's open, go to Circus McGurkus. There's a lot of Seuss figures on the roof. Sometimes someone will play on an organ, although that could have been cut. I hope not!

Confisco's was pretty fun when they had the tan paper on the tables so kids (and some adults :) ) could draw on it, but it's still a fun place to eat.

I second that!

Also we did the character dinner at the Sunset Grille with Scooby and Woody Woodpecker. My kids 1,3, & 5 really liked it. Food was fine, but we had the characters to ourselves for a long while. It was alot of fun.

Hi. Where is Sunset Grill? I didn't know USO had character meals. We will be there in Sept. staying at the HRH for the first time. Thanks to these boards I feel good about our decision now!
