My 19 yr DD and I stayed at POR from May 8-13. Here is a quick food review!
Most favorite- Yak and Yeti!
We ate lunch at the bar (no ADR). Seated immediately at 11am. Loved it! Alex at the bar was fun and friendly. We had fish tacos, pot stickers and mahi tuna nachos (amazing!).
Least favorite- Morimoto Asia. Sat at the sushi bar. We have a better selection of sushi at our local supermarket. The taste of the maki roll was ok. The tuna pizza was good but we have had better. The waiter seemed to hover. Not a really good experience.
Other experiences-
River Roost at POR- good appetizers! Really liked the cheese fritters. The wings are hot!!
Hollywood Brown Derby- loved the Cobb salad (of course!) and the grapefruit cake! Love being in park clothes (like everyone else) in a fancy restaurant!
POFQ beignets- great! Made fresh to order!
The Wave in Contemporary Resort- good. We had bar food at the bar. Burger was good (had better- had worse).
Epcot- Had a really good Cuban sandwich at Sunshine Seasons. Eggplant parm and calamari at Tutto Italia- yummy!
Schoolbread is wonderful too!!
Columbia House- fried fish and fried shrimp with Keys to the Kingdom tour -ok.
California Grill- very good flatbread (mushroom and blue cheese), cheese board and sushi!
