Most embarrassing concert you've attended?

Bob, I saw the exact same tour...it was Milli Vanilli with Seduction. UGH. Horrid. They used to bring women up on stage and they'd sit on their laps. BARF!

That was the other band on that tour!! I was trying to remember who else opened for them!! I remember Young MC was also on the tour (he was actually pretty decent, IIRC). :)

phorsenuf, the fact that you can't remember where you saw them was sort of where I was going with the Dead Head thing. My recollections are foggy at best. :p

LOL......those were the days.......;)

Kool and the Gang.......
NSYNC
Banrey Live...hehehe

Didn't one of the Milli Vanilli guys just commit suicide? Am I remembering that right? If so, that is sad. :( Talk about your falls from grace. :(

Yep, Rob Pilatus (sp?) killed himself in like 1998. :(

Ok, this is where I make a long list of confessions then hide for the next decade. :o

Color Me Badd
Tommy Page
Michael Damian
New Kids on the Block (5 times)
Nelson
Slaughter
Ugly Kid Joe
Ozzy
Sir Mix A Lot
LL Cool J
4 Non Blondes

I'm sure there's more, I'm just blocking out the rest :earseek:

(wasn't my choice to go... thank goodness it was free)
Same here. A friend of mine was dying to go, don't know why though. She guilted me into going with her. She paid for the tickets and food and stuff. I think at 20, I was the tallest and oldest person there.:teeth:

but here is the bad part: I considered myself a Dead Head.

Oh, the HORROR!!!! ;)

DH & I are going to see The Dead this weekend!! :earseek: Yep, DMIL is watching the kids & we are going to Indianapolis! Can't wait!!! I think the last time I saw them was 6 years ago (although then they were touring as The Other Ones)!!

I guess the one concert I saw that some may think as embarassing would be Barry Manilow.

I went to see Liberace as well...my mom and dad took me to see him at one of those theaters that had a round stage that moved in circles. I was about 8 at the time too!

Bay City Rollers. I dunno, they were so big I thought it might be something special:o It wasn't.;)

Backstreet Boys with my teenage daughter.

There were so many raging hormones in that place I felt ten years younger

....also seen Richard Marx, Rick Astley.......both of those were awfully embarassing to admit now. What can I say?? I was a young teenager in the 1980's.

I am glad to see this! I was reading this thread thinking I can not be the only one who saw Richard Marx!

Rick Springfield at Westbury Music Fair. You could barely hear him because of all of the screaming girls.

DH was a major Deadhead. He traveled along the East coast to see them. He doesn't know how many concerts he has been to. We also have tons of concert tapes. I think it is amazing the way people can remember what songs were played at the different shows. I went with him once after we were married to see them at Madison Square Garden. The show was pretty good, but what amazed me the most were the women and young girls going into the bathrooms barefoot. So disgusting!

Well I have not only been to one Weird Al concert, I have been to 3...LOL....but in all seriousness, he is really good. He puts on a great show. Lots of fun.

I also recently went to Universal and saw Cyndi Lauper. That was a GREAT concert.

I'll join the line of NKOTB concert goers....twice.....once with Tiffany opening for them....bad, bad, bad.

I have a tshirt, posters, tapes, videos, etc.....you know it's really bad when you own a group's Christmas music.

Mine has to be a Green Day concert only for the fact that I fell while trying to run away from the mosh pit. :teeth:
I was so embarrassed it was pathetic-that concert made me start to feel old-I was only 26 at the time but my friend and I felt like we were the oldest ones there, lol

memories.......

oh and I also went to Jack Wagner in concert but that was a great time had by all-hee hee
I loved him!!!

Here's my list.

Elvis (the year before he died)
Cheap Trick
Iggy Pop
Cher
38 Special
Kenny Rogers

Don't they make for an odd mixture.

Oh my...I don't think I'd ever be embarrassed about an Elvis concert...even in his Vegas days.

Am I the only one admitting to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch? I've never been a big concert person. The only other concerts I've been to are George Strait and Nine Inch Nails and I have tickets to go see Tim McGraw later this month.
