C'mon -- everyone's gotta have at least one that you look back on and think, "What the heck was I thinking???" :p :p

Mine -- Milli Vanilli -- a couple buddies and I were first row. :o :o It was post lip-snych rumors, but prior to their admitting it, so we stood there staring at their lips the whole time, trying to figure out if they were actually singing or not! :p :p

Anyone else? :teeth:

I never really had a teeny bopper phase, so no Donny Osmond or New Kids on the Block concerts for me.

On the flip side, I was a huge freak for the Grateful Dead. Great band, but here is the bad part: I considered myself a Dead Head.

Nuff said?

Back Street Boy's with My seven year old Daughter, all those screaming girls.

:teeth:

I took my kids to see Britney.

and I should also mention, my ex and I used to see the Monkees every time they toured in the 80's and early 90's.

Loverboy

BUT

In my defense, I was covering it for the local paper. I wouldn't never have paid money to see them. UGH...funny part is Huey Lewis and the News were opening for them and they were so nice, gave me an interview and everything. No one from Loverboy could be bothered before or after the concert.

Jack Wagner (was on General Hospital at the time) when I was about 13 or 14:rolleyes:

Michael Jackson. :teeth: I took my niece and my best friends daughter and I forget who else. It was awful. And this was back in the mid 80's when everyone was in awe of Jackson. :teeth:

Uriah Heep was another. :crazy2:

Even though I have already admitted to Barry Manilow, that was not the most embarrassing concert experience. I sing in our church choir and about 12 years ago when George Strait was in town he needed a "gospel choir" to sing back up for one of his songs (I think it was called "We Shall be Free.") DH and I went just for fun; everyone else there was a huge George Strait fan and DH and I felt silly just sitting there while everyone else was going nuts. We got bored and left after our song was over.

I guess American Idol would be my most embarrassing...some people would probably tease me for going to see John Denver, but I love his music.

Blue's Clues live a couple of summers ago,but in my defense it was a baby sitting job and the kids had tickets

I've seen Donny & Marie and Weird Al, but I suppose seeing Rick Springfield in a couple of weeks will be the icing on the cake. ;)

Oh come on, you know it was a good concert :teeth:

DH found my ticket to a Nelson concert a few weeks ago, made fun of me for hours. At least he hasn't found my New Kids on the Block tickets :smooth: :earseek:

Shaun Cassidy in 1978 (?). The Hardy Boys was my favorite show at the time. I think I was about 11 or 12.

Or Conway Twitty (sp). We had won tickets to the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo. He was performing that night. I'll never forget him coming out in an open Jeep with flashing lights sign with his name. It was as if we were transported to Vegas (or the twightlight zone).

New Kids. I still own all their CDs and also the DVD of the videos that came out a couple years ago. I am not ashamed!:teeth: :p
