Most Disappointing Series Finale

For me, it has to be the Sopranos. Sitting in a booth in a diner and .... I was thinking REALLY? I watched all these years for THAT?

What series finale disappointed you the most?

St. Elsewhere. I was just a kid when it originally aired, but even I thought it was lame.

Also The Practice. The whole demise of the original cast (firing half of them) towards changing it over to Boston Legal killed the show long before the finale. I'm still steamed over that.

Seinfeld was the worst by far. The best was The Golden Girls, with Newhart being a close second.

Definately Seinfeld. Such a good show how could it have gone out on such a bad note?

I wasn't thrilled with the Lost finale. I think it left a lot of questions unanswered.

Life on Mars - it was a great series, but they got the notice of being canceled so late that they tacked on a rush ending to a normal episode. The details happened so quickly and was over so fast that you had to think back on it for several minutes to make sense out of it all and process it. Even then, we were asking each other here what happened.

A little watched two season Showtime Series called "Dead Like Me". Was a sudden cancellation, so there was no finale.

Single episode I agree with Seinfeld. Last several episodes, hands down was Lost. The show was great in the first several seasons, then it was like "what the heck are they even doing?" Totally felt like I wasted years of my life building up to that.

2. Alias (which is why I never watched Lost. After the way JJ Abrams screwed up Alias, I refuse to give him another minute of my time.)

Big Love. Can't believe they killed Bill. Ugh!


The Wire. I was upset for days they made the Dookie a druggie. You got to know and love this kid and the last image of him was shooting up. Heart wrenching because you know that is the truth of it all.
