For me it's been:
1. Cinderella' Royal Table
2. Chef Mickey
3. Akershus

For me (and my experience only), the others have been easier to get and should be in another tier:
4a. Tusker House
4b. Crystal Palace
5. 1900 Park Fare
6. Garden Grill
7. Hollywood and Vine

I'd actually possible throw Mickey's Backyard Barbecue in the top tier. That one has been tough for us at times.

Interesting. We're hoping to have that meal on our check-in day, as we're staying at FW. Do you think the issue is that it's only two days/week? Everyone hypes HDDR, but we thought out kids, ages 2-11, would have more fun in a less-constrained setting and with characters instead of unfamiliar humans.

Also, why do I have t pay in full for MBYBBQ if I have a dining plan? I really have to let go of $260 for six months and then wait for them to refund it when I pay with my DDP? Or am I trying to reserve spots in the wrong way?

The two days a week could definitely play into it. That and you might get some run-off from people who did not get HDDR reservations. Part of my problem was it was never a top 3 dining choice whenever we have gone, so possible that by the time we got other reservations the ones for MBYBBQ were all gone.

I think (and could be totally wrong here) that you have to pay full for any dining experience that is considered 2 credit. And yup, once you pay in full for your DDP you get refunded. We were lucky enough to get free dining on our upcoming trip and just got reimbursed for CRT.

Well, this morning, my ADR window opened up and this tie, when trying to book in my window, it offered me a box to check where I could guarantee the reservation with my DDP! Easy-peasy. (If I had not wanted to do that, I would have gone through the regular pre-payment process.) So I did not have to make to make a MBYBBQ reservation.

Cal Grill does not require pre payment and they are a 2 credit as well.
