Most Convenient Resort to all parks?

You can enter EPCOT via IG at rope drop. They just simply direct you in the direction of Future World. You can not roam around the World Showcase. I love the EPCOT resorts personally.

But like stated above, each resort is closest from some parks and further away from others.

As for walking through EPCOT to hit the Monorail, I would not recommend it. We did it one time because the kids wanted to ride the monorail. I am convinced it was much longer than waiting for the bus (one has to walk through EPCOT, get it line for the Monorail, wwait for the monorail, go the TTC, get of and then wait for another monorail to MK).

It is longer, and you need hoppers, but we often do it on the way BACK from the MK. We will tackle one future world attraction - the single rider line at Mission Space or Test Track - maybe pick up a pastry from France. We used to pick up Fastpasses for Soarin if we were coming back that evening - now that return times are enforced that wouldn't work. Its also workable for an EMH morning at Epcot - walk quickly from the IG to get Soarin' under your belt, then hop the monorail and be at the MK just at or shortly after rope drop. My husband loves the monorail ride into Epcot.

But this isn't for those that think they already do too much walking at Disney - its a lot of added walking!

We often stay at BWV even though we know the buses will be a challenge. We figure we're on vacation and not going to let delays on those schedules upset our plans ... we must figure in the extra time for flexibility.

We stay at OKW as well, and their buses seem to be quicker (at least when we were there last) than BWV.

Of course, if you choose times to visit the parks that are outside the norm for most folks, you'll travel with relative ease! Sometimes we just get on the monorail and ride around and around and around!

Based strictly on mileage from the resort to the parks, SSR and OKW are the most centrally located to all parks.

Although it is perceived to be remote, I have always found the bus service at AKV to be exceptional. Aside from the Kidani-Jambo loop, buses travel directly to the parks and do not make additional stops or connections. Moreover, if you are staying at Jambo House, buses travel directly to the parks from this stop.

While I certainly enjoy walking to DHS and ferry experiences, I believe there is a disconnect between perception and reality as a bus ride from AKV to DHS is likely shorter than a walk from BCV to DHS.
