Are there more common UY affiliated with each resort? For example, we are considering the purchase of a BCV resale contract and I am curious if it will be difficult to find an October UY.

Just an FYI, DVD for reasons that they only know decide which UY to sell new and for how long. Sometimes they sell one use year for almost a year before selling the next one.
