Most comfy shoes that are NOT crocs?

It really depends on what you consider "comfortable"! *LOL*

I usually visit WDW for at least 10 nights in December, so I take two pairs of comfortable walking shoes, a pair of walking sandals that can be a bit dressy, and a pair of Birki slides that can be dressy/casual--and slippers!

The walking shoes/sneakers are New Balance and Ryka. I slightly prefer the Ryka because they have a narrower heel, which is more comfortable for me.

My left foot requires fairly serious support for extended walking, so sandals--and even Birks--don't cut it in the parks for me. *sigh* I really do love shoes! *LOL*

I am addicted to Propet. I have the regular walking shoes (like loafers) and a pair of sandals. Just love 'em! Have never gotten a blister and wouldn't live without 'em. This being said, I am one of those people that is appalled if I have to spend more than $15 for a pair of shoes (yes, I like Walmart shoes - they last forever!). These are the only shoes that I will splurge for. I usually get them at onlineshoes.com or zappos.com.

:yay: PRIVOS ! I own abt 8 pairs I love them !!! :yay:

wore them for 3 weeks in europe no pain at all on the cobblestones

check out selection on zappos.com, eddie bauer sometimes sells a few & nordstroms, etc

I also couldn't 'get into' crocs... until I saw their sandles, and I LOVE them! I get compliments on them everytime I wear them, and they're so comfy, I also wear them in the house as summertime slippers now (I am a barefoot girl, but these crocs are more comfy than being barefoot to me). I got mine at Dick's Sporting Goods for about $39. I usually don't spend that much on shoes, but these are definitely worth it.

If you're up for a mini splurge I love my fitflops:love: ! If you can't stand the sandals with the fabric between the toes, these are not for you. But I have two pairs that I wear constantly and they are very comfy. They are supposed to help tone your legs but I haven't really felt that. They are my official summer "shoes".

Teva sandals...they've got casual, sport, dressy and other varieties, and they're really, really well-made as well as comfy.

I have to say I love my crocs....

Teva's are good once you break them in. (I bought a pair thinking they would be better for walking than my crocs and they hurt my feet so bad I spent $100 and could of bout 4 pairs of Crocs.....)

I have bought sandals at Lands End that I really liked.

Keen also are comfy
Merrell is one I have not owned but think they look comfy

What about Merrell's? I have some Kula slides I really like. Mine are navy. I can't post a link yet, but you can google them.

I don't get the thing with crocs...they do have some that arent horribly ugly but I bought the dress crocs since I'm a wedding photographer and on my feet for hours on end. Everyone goes on and on about how they are the best thing ever... My feet kill me after about 2 hours and the platic bottoms make my feet hot. So not a fan.
I love, love, love my J-41's, they are cute and different. They shape to your foot and you don't have to wear socks (I hate wearing socks!).
I'll probably wear just my regular old flip flops too, I'm picky, I don't like plastic on them. I buy all mine from New York and Company, foam bottoms with fabric straps.

I have crocs and they are comfy, however not comfy enough I believe for touring the parks plus your feet sweat with the plastic . . . so a friend recommended Keen to me . . . wow! they are so comfy, my feet LOVE them! :thumbsup2 Plus the ones I have have protection for my toes which do tend to get stepped on when waiting in lines! ouch!:worried:

good luck!

Last trip I alternated between my Maryjane Crocs and Teva Mush flip flops. I LOVE my Teva Mush!!! They are super comfy and they stay on my feet better than any other flip flop I've ever tried.

I have a pair of Ryka slides that are incredibly comfy. We just got back from a 10 day trip and I wore those and Teva Mush flip flops all week and was very comfy in them. I bought the Teva Mush flip flops as a wear to the pool flip flop but they are so darn comfy! I've never had a flip flop with arch support before. :)

I'm a flip-flop person. My favorites are my Eliza B's, I love how they're "cutom" when you order them online. http://www.elizab.com/ You can get similar ones at Beans and J.Crew as well.

You might not want to trust me one what's comfy though, I've been known to wear my three-inch heels to Epcot at night! :rotfl:

my cole haan sandals (w/ the nike air technology) ...however it works, its wonderful and well worth the price tag.

I LOVE my Teva Mush flip flops and Montrail Molokini flip flops. I usually carry quite a few pairs (all right too many pairs) of shoes to WDW (a lady has to have choices you know:rolleyes1 ). However, I usually spend about 90% of my time switching out a couple pairs of Teva Mush. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and yes I also have about 25 pairs of Crocs:eek: .

I've posted this story once, but I'll post it again, because I still think it's funny. One morning last Dec I was in the front of the crowd rushing to Soarin' one morning, when the lady behind me accidentally stepped on my heel. She apologized and we got to talking, as we were walking behind the CMs. She said there was no way she could ever wear flip flops to WDW and had to have her Nikes, or her feet would be killiing her. I told her, I had to have arch support too, but my Teva Mush provided it, plus were soooo much cooler, lighter, and more comfortable. She still said no way she could wear flip flops, because her feet would be too tired and sore at the end of the day. I laughed and told I would probably still be going strong in my light, supportive flip flops and be more comfortable at the end of the day than she was. Anyway we round up sitting next to each other on Soarin'. I had to take my flip flops off before riding of course, so got to feel the breeze rushing past my feet during the ride. She did admit that it would probably be nice to be able to ride Soarin' barefoot, as it would give the ride a different dimension. After the ride, we went our different ways. Later that night as I was walking around the Worl Showcase, I saw her and her friend sitting on a bench in Japan, where you get the kaki goris. She had her shoes off and was trying to apply a bandaide to a fresh blister, with an expresion of agony on her face and was saying "I don't understand it, these shoes are so comfortable at home". As I ordered my kaki gori, I saw she recognized me, so nodded at her. She said her feet were killing her and asked how mine were. I wagged a foot at her and said fine. We heard snickering coming from the other bench and both glanced over at a man who had one sneaker off and was rubbing his foot. He glared at his wife and said, "shut up". His wife stuck her feet out at me and wagged her Teva Mush flip flops at me, snidely saying 'comfortable aren't they'. I laughed and told her 'yes, they're the only shoes I'll wear down here'. I noticed the lady who had criticized my Tevas that morning were now looking at them with envy. She finally asked me where I got them and if they were really that comfortable. At the same time, I and the lady on the other bench said "yes".

My dh swears by his keens and absolutely loves them. Ds and dd alternate using their crocs and keens when in disneyland. As pp mentioned privos by clarks are the most comfortable shoes in the world. I tend to bring a pair or 2 of those and my nike free mary janes as well.
