most comfortable scooter?

I am traveling to Orlando this summer and will be renting a scooter to get around the parks. I have a tailbone injury and need to find the most comfortable, well-padded ECV I can find. Since I won't be able to get on most rides (we're going mainly for the kids), I'll be on the scooter most of the time and also will want one with either a built-in "umbrella" or the ability to attach one.

Which companies have really comfortable scooters? I can bring a cushion but don't want to have to worry about it getting stolen if I actually do get on a ride. I probably wouldn't be able to bring it on most rides because it could slip out from under me and disappear.

If you haven't looked at the disABILITIES FAQs thread, there are links to a number of scooter rental companies that are recommended by DIS posters. Most of the company's websites have pictures. They all look pretty much alike, so I'm not sure if the seat on any would be better than any other. Some do rent canopies.

When you call to ask about scooters, ask if it might be possible to rent a cushion or if they have something that might accommodate you better. There are a number of soft gel type cushions that are used for wheelchairs.

Have you tried an inflatable donut? You could cover it with a towel so no one could see it when you get up and it might help your coccyx injury.

Thanks to you both. Yep, I've tried the donuts, but my pelvis is tilted forward and it puts the pressure right on my sacrum, so the donuts actually make it hurt! Gel pads and soft foam seem to work best.
